    Audio as well as video effects are added to a media clip, event, track or movie. But they do not directly change the media file or files. Instead they're added to a plug in chain which can include several effects, each of which reacts with the other plug ins or the other effects in that chain. Let me show you what I mean by that. Let's take a look at the plugin chain. I'm going to just select a clip of my timeline, and click the event effects button.
